A new interim vice president of student affairs was appointed today. Denita Siscoe will take over the position with hopes of connecting with the student body and leading all USF Bulls to success, according to USF News, which quoted her saying:
“This is a wonderful opportunity for me to further use my experience and bring my passion for student development, learning and success to new challenges while leading a student affairs organization.”
Student Affairs is a program that directly touches almost all of campus, it promotes student connections and successs beyond the University, these items and more are outlined on the USF student affairs website.
“Student Affairs at the University of South Florida is a pre-eminent organization that inspires learning and transforms the lives of students for lifelong success.”
The above video features former Vice President Jennifer Meningall who resigned in May. In the video she explains what USF student affairs has been about for the past 50 years and how it will continue to grow in the future. Siscoe hopes to take the core values Meningall had and evolve them further to make a better future for USF students.
